Day 1
Pack up your bags, get onto your car and get set go!
Leave from Bengaluru preferably in the early morning and head on to Shivasamundram waterfalls. You will reach in about 3 hours. Enjoy the scenic view of the waterfall and the nearby forests.

Spend sometime amidst the nature, explore the surroundings and click memories. Leave for Mysore in the evening. It will take about 2 hours to reach Mysore. Check in to your hotel and have a good sleep as there is lot to see for the next day.
Day 2
Welcome to Mysore! Often known as Tipu Sultan's province, there are many things to see - The Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundeshwari Temple

Day 3
Today is the day to drive to Bandipur National Park. Have a sumptuous breakfast of Mysore Masala Dasa or Mysore Bonda and head on to your next destination. The road to Bandipur is amazing and the drive would be fulfilling.

Check in to your resort and rest for a wonderful wildlife day ahead.
Day 4
The Madumalai Tiger reserve awaits you. Home to Indian Elephant, Bengal Tiger, Gaur and Indian Leopard, the sanctuary is also home to many critically endangered bird species. Hire a tour for the national park and witness the amazing wildlife.

After touring the park for almost the whole day, take rest in your resort as the next day is on road
Day 5
Leave early for the day to head for the beautiful hill town of Madikeri. But before that take a stop at the Kabini Dam. Just about 2 hours from Bandipur , visit the Kabini Dam that is built on the river Kasbani or Kabini. This dam is the major source of your drinking water back home in Bangalore. So it is a must visit!
Enjoy the view of the dam and the serenity of the water.
Now is the time to leave for Madikeri. It is about 3 hours by road from Kabini and the ride is beautiful.
This hill town has a lot to offer to enrich your holiday - Omkareshwar temple, Fort, Madikeri Falls, St. Michael's Church.

Day 6
Explore the hill town of Madikeri today. Some of the prominent ones are:
Rajas Seat - A beautiful seasonal flowers garden and artificial fountains.
Fort - A fort built by Mudduraja and then rebuilt by Tipu Sultan
Omakreshwara Temple - A well known Shiva temple with a pond
St. Michael's Church - Built during the time of Hyder Ali, then destroyed by Tipu Sultan and again built.

Day 7
Today is the day you head on for Chikmangalur- The Coffee hill. But before that cover any site that was missed Day 6. Afternoon is a good time to leave for Chikmangalur as it would take about 4-5 hours to reach (145 km).
Drive through an amazing route to reach. Check in and take some rest after all the sightseeing in Madikeri and the drive.
Day 8
Chikmangalur welcomes you! Start your day by taking a tour at the Coffee Plantations and get to know the history of plantations. Meanwhile also enjoy the aroma and the making of in the Coffee Museum!

Next on the line should be Baba Budangiri , a mountain range int he Western Ghats and known for its shrine to the Sufi Saint, Hazrat Dada Hayat Khalandar. It is said that Coffee was first brought to India from this place when Baba Budan grew it in 1670 AD.
If the hills do not excite you, then you can take the adventurous route and visit the Rafting site in Bhadra river. It is about 3 hours drive from the city and hence will take an entire day.
Day 9
This brings to an end of the epic Bangalore getaway which was full of nature, scenic drives, hills, wildlife and some coffee! However, the journey is not over yet. A road trip should always end by being on the road for a longer time.
Chikmangalur to Bangalore will give that beautiful ending. Drive through this 6 hours drive by taking intermittent stops at the Dhabas. Get back home refreshed!
